REFUNDS
- How would I be eligible for a financial aid refund?

- You must have a credit balance on your account
and a signed promissory note returned to Financial Aid.

- When are financial aid refunds available?

- Refunds are generally available shortly after financial aid disbursements are posted on accounts. As long as a student is eligible for a refund, a refund will be generated automatically.

- All refunds are sent direct deposit into the student's designated checking or savings account. You can provide your current banking information at

- What if I lose my refund check or the check does not reach me?

- First, a student should wait two weeks from the issuance check date to ensure that it has not been delayed in the mail. If after that time, the check has not been received, contact
Student Accounts department at 312/362-8390. A stop payment will be
issued on the check and request the reissue of a new one. Please allow one week for this process.

- I paid for my course by the tuition due date, then dropped a course in time to receive a refund. Will the refund be sent to me automatically?

- No, you would need to contact the Payment Center at 312/362-6628 to request a refund.
