- When I register for a course late, should I wait for a bill before paying my tuition charges?

- No, tuition is due immediately, and a student should not wait for a bill. Payment can be made immediately by contacting the Payment Center at 312/362-6628; or go online to https://campusconnect.depaul.edu

- What if I don't receive a bill?

- Payments must be made by the published payment date to avoid a delinquency fee, regardless of whether you have received a bill. If you haven't received a bill, inquire with Student Accounts at 312/362-6628 or check your account balance at http://campusconnect.depaul.edu

- What are the consequences of not paying my balance on time?

- There are several consequences. First, your account will be blocked, which means that registration for future terms will be prohibited unless the balance is paid in full or arrangements are made with a Tuition Counselor in Student Accounts. Secondly, your account will be assessed a $100 delinquency fee. Thirdly, you will not be able to obtain transcripts or a diploma unless the balance has been paid.

- There are several methods you can utilize to make a payment. Payments can be made over the phone by credit card at 866/344-0216, by mail, or by dropping off payments directly to Student Accounts. In addition, a drop box is located outside of the Student Accounts office in the Loop Campus for payments made after hours. Payments are also accepted online at http://campusconnect.depaul.edu

- What is the fee for a return check or payment?

- If a student gives the university a check that is returned by the bank upon which it was drawn marked "Not Sufficient Funds", "Payment Stopped", "Refer to Maker", or "Account Closed", a $25.00 charge will be assessed for each such occurrence. The university
reserves the right to refuse acceptance of a personal check without prior notice.
